George Pickens has the physical tools to be one of the NFL's best wide receivers. The Georgia Bulldogs product now has the perfect quarterback to use his unique deep ball-catching skill set best.
Ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 16 game against the Baltimore Ravens, let's look at Pickens' availability.
George Pickens' injury update
George Pickens hasn't played since his team's win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 1 due to a hamstring injury. Before the injury, Pickens was in arguably the best form of his career, leading the team in receiving yards in five consecutive games.

However, he has since missed two games for the Steelers, during which the team has gone 1-1. Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show on Monday, NFL insider Adam Schefter said that Pickens might miss more games before he's cleared to return to action.
According to On3 Sports, Schefter reported that a source told him Pickens is dealing with a Grade 2 hamstring injury. Those injuries typically take a month to recover from, and Pickens sustained the injury on Dec. 1. That means the pass catcher will likely return in time for the playoffs rather than Saturday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
How is George Pickens performing this season?
Before the injury, George Pickens was on track to record another 1,000 receiving yards in the season. The Steelers wideout was in the form of his life, making highlight-reel catches every other week.
Pickens had amassed a stat line of 55 catches, 850 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. Furthermore, he was getting loads of targets from nine-time Pro Bowler Russell Wilson. However, Pickens must now wait for the all-clear to return to action and potentially help the Steelers in their playoff push.
The Steelers enter Week 16 with a 10-4 record and are one of the trickiest teams in the Super Bowl hunt. Mike Tomlin's side is tough to score against, and it has enough offensive weapons to make an opposing defense look silly. It'll close its regular season with games against the Ravens, Kansas City Chiefsnand Cincinnati Bengals.
