Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady were among the world's most recognizable couples until their divorce after 13 years of marriage last October.
During their marriage, the pair joined the cryptocurrency company, FTX, while putting millions into the company. Brady and Bündchen are each named as defendants in a class-action lawsuit representing customers who lost money in the FTX collapse.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Bundchen was asked about FTX amid reports that she and Brady have been avoiding the service of a lawsuit. The supermodel and activist apologized and hopes the situation gets resolved.

“I was blindsided. I’m no different than everyone else that trusted the hype. It’s just...terrible. I’m so sorry for all of us that this happened, and I just pray that justice gets made.”
Gisele Bundchen was given the position of Environmental and Social Initiatives at the company and reportedly chose not to talk about the situation in greater detail for legal reasons. However, she had believed FTX to be “a sound and great thing based on what my financial advisers told me.” Her direct involvement drew instant scrutiny once the feds exposed supposed wrongdoing at FTX.
FTX founder and former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is currently under house arrest as his highly anticipated trial is set for October. Bankman-Fried could spend up to 115 years in prison on numerous fraud charges after he supposedly stole customer monies to sustain his luxurious lifestyle.

Gisele Bundchen's Vanity Fair interview touched on divorce with Tom Brady
After discussing the FTX scandal, Bundchen spoke on her divorce from the recently retired quarterback with Vanity Fair. She commented that it was the death of her dream when her marriage to Brady ended.
Bundchen said:
“It’s tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know? I believed in fairy tales when I was a kid. I think it’s beautiful to believe in that. I mean, I’m so grateful I did."
"You give everything you got to achieve your dream. You give a hundred per cent of yourself, and it’s heartbreaking when it doesn’t end up the way you hoped for, and worked for, but you can only do your part.”
Gisele Bundchen and the seven-time Super Bowl winner have two children together: son Benjamin and daughter Vivian.
