The Houston Texans and the Green Bay Packers, two teams that have impressed this season, will square off in Week 7, with the winner guaranteed a spot among the top contenders in their respective leagues.
Both teams are coming off impressive victories. The Texans defeated the New England Patriots 41-21 last week, and the Packers defeated the Arizona Cardinals 34-13 in Week 6.
With Jordan Love and C.J. Stroud starting as opponents at quarterback for the first time, this interconference game between the Texans and Packers is sure to be exciting.
The Texans will go 6-1 and have their best start to a season since 2012 if Stroud leads them to victory in this Week 7 matchup.

Houston Texans injury report
The Houston Texans have ruled out five players on their final injury report ahead of the game against the Green Bay Packers. Those players are linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), cornerback Kamari Lassiter (shoulder), linebacker Henry To’oTo’o (concussion), safety Jimmie Ward (groin) and wide receiver Robert Woods (foot).
The team has also designated both defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi (shoulder) and wide receiver Steven Sims (back) as questionable to play on Sunday. However, all of running back Joe Mixon (ankle), linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips (hip) and offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil (ankle) are not carrying any injury designations and will be available.
Henry To’oTo’o injury update
Henry To'oTo'o suffered a head injury during the Texans' Week 6 win over the New England Patriots last week. It wasn't a surprise that he was DNP in practice throughout the week and has now been ruled out for Week 7.
With To'oTo'o out against the Packers, Del'Shawn Phillips and Neville Hewitt are expected to be Houston's starting outside linebackers.
Jimmie Ward injury update
Jimmie Ward was unavailable for last week's game against the Patriots after aggravating his groin injury in the Week 5 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
The defensive back will now sit out a second consecutive game on Sunday as he has been ruled out for the Texans in their final injury report.
While Ward is out against the Packers, the team's starting safety duo will probably be Eric Murray and Calen Bullock.
Joe Mixon injury update
In Week 6's game against the New England Patriots, running back Joe Mixon returned from a three-game layoff and recorded 13 rushes for 102 yards and a score in addition to two receptions for 30 yards and another touchdown. The former Bengals running back, though, was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
Mixon returned with his first full practice of the week on Friday and is no longer carrying an injury designation for the game against the Green Bay Packers.
