The New York Giants faced the Houston Texans in their second game of the preseason on Saturday. The Giants were unable to capitalize on last week's 14-3 win against the Detroit Lions, as they lost 28-10 to the Texans.

Daniel Jones played his first game since suffering an ACL injury last season. For the Texans, C.J. Stroud played his second straight game of the preseason and looks ready to make a run for the MVP award.

In his first game back from a season-ending ACL injury, Daniel Jones completed 11/18 of his throws for 138 yards and two interceptions. The interceptions, which included one pick-six, were a bad look for Jones, but he led his team to two scoring drives.

Giants star rookie Malik Nabers finished with four receptions for 54 yards on six targets. He looks primed to put up good numbers in his rookie season, no matter who the quarterback will be for the franchise. Running back Eric Gray had three carries for 18 yards.

Stroud completed 7/10 throws for 88 yards, while Stefon Diggs had one reception for nine yards. John Metchie III had a great game, as he finished with six receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. Texans quarterback Case Keenum threw for 73 yards and a touchdown.

On the defensive side, Jalen Pitre and Derrick Stingley Jr. caught one interception, with Pitre returning one for a touchdown. Neither team registered any sacks.

Giants fans will be worried after seeing Daniel Jones throw two interceptions in the game against the Texans. The 27-year-old quarterback signed a four-year $160 million deal last season and has two years left on his deal.

This upcoming season is crucial for Jones. If he fails to perform or gets injured again, the Giants will look to find his replacement next year via the draft or in free agency. Dak Prescott is expected to be a free agent next year and remains a likely candidate to be the next Giants' quarterback.

Giants linebacker Micah McFadden was carted off the field and didn't return to play due to a hip injury. His situation will be worth monitoring leading up to the regular season.

As for Texas, things are looking good for the reigning AFC South champions. They have won two out of their three preseason games this season, and their star quarterback, Stroud, hasn't missed a beat from last year. Hopefully, their star receivers Stefon Diggs, Tank Dell and Nico Collins remain healthy.
