Mason hasn't stepped on the Gridiron since he got hurt in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He's missed two games since then and will play no part in his side's opening game of the 2025 postseason.

Denico Autry's injury update

According to CBS Sports, Denico Autry is questionable about playing against the Chargers. The defensive end deals with a lingering knee injury in the leadup to the game.

Autry will likely play in the game, as he participated fully in Thursday's training session. Barring any unfortunate occurrences, he should pose a problem for Justin Herbert and the opposing offense.

John Metchie III's injury update

According to The Fantasy Footballers, John Metchie III is questionable to play against the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild card round. The wide receiver is dealing with a shoulder injury leading up to the big game.

Metchie III steadily progressed on the training report. He did not participate on Tuesday, was a limited participant on Wednesday and participated fully on Thursday. Hence, he'll likely start alongside Nico Collins in the receiving corps.

Teagan Quitoriano's injury update

According to CBS Sports, Teagan Quitoriano is listed as questionable ahead of the wild card round. The tight end deals with a calf injury in the leadup to the Chargers game.

Quitoriano missed the last five games of the just-concluded regular season due to the injury suffered against the Tennessee Titans. There's a chance he's taken off the Houston Texans injured reserve before the playoff matchup.
