Houston Texans' WR Chris Moore's Fantasy Outlook for Week 15

Philadelphia Eagles v Houston Texans
Philadelphia Eagles v Houston Texans

Chris Moore is a member of the Houston Texans, one of the few NFL sides that have officially been eliminated from playoff contention. He serves as a backup wideout on the side, as he has names such as Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins ahead of him on the depth chart. However, in the few games he started this season, he has given a decent account of himself.

Moore will likely be getting more snaps this season, as the Texans are in full tank mode at this stage. Moreover, Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins are injured for the time being.

These factors give him a lot more playing time (no pun intended) than his role guarantees. This may be his opportunity to bring back the Cincinnati University days and prove to the Texans that he deserves to be a part of their rebuild.

Chris Moore's Fantasy Outlook

Chris Moore is a wildcard fantasy prospect that most fantasy managers in the NFL haven't picked. He is rostered by 8.2 percent of fantasy managers, which pales in comparison to his more illustrious teammates.

But maybe they should be paying more attention, as Moore has that dawg in him most of the time. This can be evidenced by his 124 yards and ten-catch game against the Dallas Cowboys. A game that the Texans were tantalizingly close to pulling off an upset.

Moore led the team in targets, receptions, and receiving yards in the Cowboys game.

How is Chris Moore performing this season?

Chris Moore has the regular season you would expect from a third-string wide receiver on a basement team like the Houston Texans. He has been behind Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins all season, as evidenced by his modest numbers.

However, when given the opportunity, Moore has more than proved that he belongs on the Gridiron. This season, he is putting up a stat line of 37 receptions, 438 yards, and two touchdowns in twelve games.
