Madden 23 and the entire Madden franchise have allowed the average NFL fan to become the general manager of their favorite team. One such way to accomplish this is by playing the franchise mode in the video game. Actual general managers in the league make trades that can be difficult, but not if you're playing Madden.

It can be difficult to force trades but can become easier to do. There are a couple of methods that can be used to help build a roster full of All-Pro talent. First, there's a method called punter trading.

The method is easy: you can edit a player that you want and move his position to a punter or whatever position he's not great at. The objective is to lessen his overall enough for you to trade for the said player without a problem. You could give up a late-round draft pick or a below-average player for that player.

Another way to force trades is to use our SAR (Stand and Release) method. Basically, you will be taking full advantage of the trade system used in Madden 23 to help construct that roster.

When trying to make trades, it's important to check your trades screen frequently in Madden franchise mode. Seeing trades, especially throughout the season, is a rarity.

However, don’t be shocked to see so many trade offers for your players, particularly if you’re running one of the best teams in the game. Examples include the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Madden 23 and its highest-rated players

At the moment, only four NFL players can say they have a max rating of 99 to their name in Madden 23. These players include defensive tackle Aaron Donald, defensive end Myles Garrett, tight end Travis Kelce and left tackle Trent Williams.

Kelce's teammate is the highest-rated quarterback in Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes with a 98 rating. San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey and his 96 rating edges out Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders (95) as the highest-rated running back in the game.
