Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been in the NFL for 18 years, but championship rings have become as elusive as a unicorn for the 38-year-old.
Having played 18 years in the NFL, Rodgers is regarded by many as one of the best throwers of the football the world has seen. Unfortunately, that hasn't translated into top-tier success for the quarterback.
Aaron Rodgers' championships have not come easy or at a decent rate throughout his career. Despite making the playoffs in 12 of his 18 seasons, it has yielded just one Super Bowl win.
For some, this is the only blip on the quarterback's career. However, when we look at how many NFC Championship games Rodgers has been to, it makes it even worse for the Packers star.

Aaron Rodgers' Championship Record: A thorn in his side
Throughout his career, Aaron Rodgers has had the Packers right at the top of the Super Bowl pecking order. They were most people's favorites to come out of the NFC for the last decade, which hasn't exactly been the case.
The Packers quarterback has only been to five NFC Championships, but his Championship record isn't great. In those five appearances, he has won just once, his first-ever against the Chicago Bears in 2011 (won the Super Bowl). Since then, however, the quarterback has lost four straight, including back-to-back in 2020 and 2021.
Many argue that had the 38-year-old managed to cash in on just one of those other four NFC Championship appearances, that his standing in the game could have been much higher.
As it stands, Rodgers is 1-4 in NFC Championship games and only has one Super Bowl to show from 12 playoff appearances. If there was a glaring stat for the quarterback's career, that is it.
Given Green Bay's struggles this season, it is highly unlikely that Rodgers will be adding to either playoff total in 2022. So next season might be his best chance.
While the quarterback's talent is undeniable, the lack of success when it comes to the postseason is always going to be a blight on his career.
As of right now, the chances seem slim of that changing.
