The Atlanta Falcons picked Deion Sanders in the first round of the 1989 NFL Draft, fifth overall and out of Florida State. By the time Sanders left the NFL, he had two rings from the Super Bowl. Born in 1967 in Fort Myers, Florida, Sanders starred for a different franchise in each of those two championship wins, yet they both occurred in consecutive seasons.
In Super Bowl XXIX, Sanders played as a right cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers, who defeated the San Diego Chargers 49-26. Sanders recorded one interception in that game while guiding the 49ers to a win.
In Super Bowl XXX, Sanders played as a left cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys, who defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-17. Sanders had one catch for 47 yards and one punt return for 11 yards.

Deion Sanders had an illustrious playing career
Deion Sanders played 14 seasons in the league, including time with the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders, San Francisco 49ers, and Atlanta Falcons.
Additionally, Sanders spent nine seasons in Major League Baseball with the Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, and San Francisco Giants.
Nine times in his career as a cornerback, he was selected to the first All-Pro team. Throughout his tenure, he was selected to eight Pro Bowls. When he retired, he gained a career-high 303 yards on interception returns for the 49ers in 1994, which was the third all-time in NFL history.
Sanders is the only player to score a touchdown with an interception return, a fumble recovery, a kickoff return, receiving, running, and a punt return. This is a great accomplishment.
He was the first consistent starter on offense and defense in 34 years when he joined the Dallas Cowboys in 1996. However, Sanders was more destructive on defense, earning eight Pro Bowl honors as a cornerback. In his first six years, he intercepted 30 passes, which caused quarterbacks to stop throwing his way.
Sanders was also a great base stealer, albeit he was nowhere near as good at baseball as he was at football. He is the only athlete in professional sports history to have participated in both the Super Bowl and the World Series. He played in one World Series as an MLB player but could not take home the championship.
Deion Sanders was enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011. His total net worth is $45 million per Celebrity Net Worth.
In other news, Deion Sanders was named the new University of Colorado football head coach on December 3.
