A mythical NFL career stat line held by Tom Brady

The Patriots drafted Tom Brady in the sixth round of the 2000 Draft. He was selected as a possible long-term backup to the then-incumbent All-Pro quarterback, Drew Bledsoe. However, due to many factors, Brady took over from Bledsoe in his second year and never looked back.

Brady holds an array of NFL records, but his most remarkable is 30 completed passes in five consecutive games, the longest streak in NFL history. This stat line requires consistency, dexterity, and mastery of offensive weapons. Brady broke that record in his twenty-third season as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He did this at the age of forty-five and was on the second team of his NFL career. Brady is the first player with at least 30 completions in 10 games in the same season. Who said Brady retired because he couldn't sling rocks with the best of them?

Which QB has the most 400-yard passing games in the NFL?

While Tom Brady holds almost every quarterback passing record that you can imagine, there's one record he doesn't have all to himself is the overall 400-yard passing game record.

Super Bowl-winning QB Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers holds that record. Brees is known by many as the best passer of all time, and his records speak for themselves. Brees put up 16 400-yard passing games in his excellent NFL career.

Aside from Brees, some other NFL legends have 400-yard games like Brady. Peyton Manning had 14 400-yard passing games with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. Manning is one of Brady's biggest rivals, and he has the lead over his playoff foes in this category as well as the NFL regular season MVPs.

Dan Marino had 13 games for 400 yards, and he achieved that with one of the slickest throwing motions. Brady and Ben Roethlisberger are tied for fourth on the list with 12 400-yard games each.
