Dunlap joined the Chiefs in the offseason and has chipped in with four sacks in the team's defensive line rotation. Although Toney injured his ankle in the AFC championship game, the receiver is expected to play in the Super Bowl.
Here are the three former Florida players on the Eagles:
- WR Tyrie Cleveland
- S C.J. Gardner-Johnson
- T Fred Johnson
C.J. Gardner-Johnson tied for the league lead with six interceptions this season. Meanwhile, offensive tackle Fred Johnson is expected to play in the Super Bowl as well.
Florida will doubtless be proud to have a decent number of their former players partaking in the Super Bowl this year.
Super Bowl 2023: When, where and how to watch?
Super Bowl 2023 will be played on Feb. 12, with kickoff at 6:30 PM ET. The game will be held at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The Kansas City Chiefs won the AFC title when they beat the Cincinnati Bengals in the championship game. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles clinched the NFC title when they beat the San Francisco 49ers in the conference championship.
The Chiefs and Eagles both have a 16-3 record this season heading into the Super Bowl. The two teams also finished as the No.1 seed in their conferences. Since there's not much to separate these two teams, we should be in for a thrilling contest to end the NFL season.
