Cadillac Williams is a former running back who played majorly for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers drafted him as the fifth overall pick in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft.

Williams stood out from the start and became the first running back in NFL history to start his career with three straight 100-plus-yard rushing games. He played seven seasons in the NFL, six with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and his last with the St. Louis Rams.

Williams had a promising first two seasons, but in 2007, he suffered from a torn patellar tendon, which led him to miss most of the games that season.

He played four games and recorded 208 rushing yards and three touchdowns. In 2008, he tore a tendon in his other knee and was again ruled out of the season.

Williams came back strong and had an excellent season in 2009, registering 823 rushing yards in 211 attempts and four touchdowns. However, his performances saw a backdrop, and a year later, the Buccaneers phased him out.

While playing for the Buccaneers, he recorded 3,677 rushing yards on 968 attempts and scored 20 touchdowns.

In 2011, he played for the St. Louis Rams and started in only one out of 11 games. It turned out to be his last season in the NFL. Williams is currently focusing on other career options.
