The Denver Broncos are all set to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in what should be an enthralling Week 6 of Monday Night Football. Entering this AFC West clash, both teams have struggled early on. But it's the Chargers who are currently enjoying a better run of form.

Coming off wins in Week 4 and Week 5, L.A. sit second in a highly competitive AFC West. The division features the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders as well. Denver, on the other hand, are currently third in their division with a 2-3 record. Their most recent defeat came in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Last season, both teams won a game apiece when facing each other. This time around the Chargers will have to deal with the threat of the self-professed "Mr. Unlimited" - Russell Wilson.

Broncos vs Chargers prediction

Denver need to turn things around and quick. Placed in arguably the toughest division in the NFL, a lot of their success hinges on the performances of Russell Wilson. They acquired Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks for a boatload of draft picks and players.

The future NFL Hall of Famer has struggled for form since making the switch and currently has a touchdown to interception ratio of 4:3. Those numbers definitely don't scream franchise QB material.

Justin Herbert, on the other hand, has picked up from where he left off and has already accumulated 10 TDs in five games. While scoring hasn't been much of an issue for the L.A. franchise, their 40% conversion rate in the red zone is something they have to work on.

With all that being said, it's likely that the Chargers will finish the game on top by winning by at least 10 points or more.
