Once again, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are the last team standing in the AFC. The team will return to the Super Bowl for the third time in four years. After losing to Joe Burrow in the previous two games, fans were confident that the Bengals would win on the road.

However, the Chiefs won their final offensive drive and scored three points to secure the victory. Of course, Bengals fans credit the final penalty more than the quarterback for putting the team in position for the field goal. A late out-of-bounds hit to put the team in position for kicker Harrison Butker to send the team to Glendale.

In a savage way of communicating that the hit gifted the team a win, Darren Rovell posted a meme that sent Bengals fans screaming with laughter. In the meme, Mahomes is seen exchanging jerseys with NFL official Robert Torbert thanks to the magic of Photoshop. The image had fans rolling, Here's what they said in response:

In clearing the AFC, the Chiefs will face the last remaining team from the NFC in the Philadelphia Eagles. It will be Jalen Hurts' first Super Bowl appearance and the second for the franchise since 2017. However, unlike most teams that repeat as NFC Champions, the Eagles have an entirely new staff in the most important positions.

As head coach, Nick Sirianni has replaced Doug Pederson. At quarterback, Jalen Hurts has replaced Nick Foles. At the receiver, the team now has AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. Of course, several players are still hanging around from the team that won it all against Tom Brady in the Super Bowl half a decade ago.

Center Jason Kelce is still with the team, as are Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham among others. Put simply, while the most important positions will be learning the ropes of the two-week gap, the team has plenty of veterans who can serve as a source of guidance for the younger players.

Meanwhile, Mahomes and the Chiefs have many new players on the team since the last time they played in a Super Bowl. Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are both about as seasoned as they come when talking about Super Bowls, but they will have the task of coaching up important players like Isaiah Pacheco, Juju Smith Schuster, and others.

Which team will show up with the best mindset when Super Bowl 57 kicks off in two weeks?
