Kansas City Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, live in Belton, MO. Their eight-acre property, which was once vacant land, was purchased in 2020 for $400,000 and the Mahomes then changed it into a mansion. Though the couple owns multiple houses across the country, this is the primary residence where they spend most of the NFL off-season.
Back in 2019, they were still living in their first-owned home in Kansas while building their dream home. So, when they were interviewed by NFM, their home designers, in December 2019, Brittany revealed how she wanted it to be:
“Our home is amazing. It's everything we ever wanted," Brittany said.
"We wanted it to be kind of a cool-looking house, kind of swaggy, but at the same time be able to be a house that we can grow in and be able to raise a family in this house," Patrick Mahomes continued.

"Yeah, I wanted it to be very homey. I wanted us to feel comfortable in it,” Brittany Mahomes said.
Before their dream house was completed in February 2023, the couple lived in their first house in Kansas. Patrick Mahomes discussed the decision to buy land and build a home on Netflix's hit series "Quarterback," which aired in July 2023:
“I actually decided to get the land, to get ready to build that right, when I signed my contract here in Kansas City. I signed a 10-year extension … because I knew I wanted to be here.”
The Mahomes' 14,561 square foot Spyglass Ct property has seven bedrooms and all the amenities of a luxurious modern house. The Mahomes have a private pool, multiple bathrooms, a gym, a movie theater, a fish tank, and large parking areas with security.
“[I] have enough space for the dogs to run around and play, still being modern and have that type of style that we wanted." Brittany said.
"It's exactly what the lady wanted, and it's a dream house that we've always wanted,” Mahomes added.
Patrick Mahomes has a practice football field for off-season
Patrick Mahomes has customized the house to suit his athletic needs as well. The property has a basketball court, a state-of-the-art gym, a trophy case for his Lombardi trophies and MVP awards, a three-par golf course, and a half-football field covering 50 yards.
Mahomes's idea was to use the practice field for his off-season training. In 2023, he suggested the idea to HC Andy Reid, who immediately approved of it. Since then, the Chiefs offensive squad spent some time at Mahomes’ to practice together. As per Mahomes, it helps him to gel with his teammates and build relationships.
