Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany have been able to enjoy Christmas this season since the Kansas City Chiefs played on Saturday in Week 16. Doing so allowed them to share photos of themselves and their family. Brittany shared photos of their oldest child, Sterling Skye Mahomes, with Santa Claus. Sterling also received a gift from her dad in the form of a golf cart.

The Chiefs' star quarterback is known for being an avid golfer and looks like he's training Sterling to become one:

When did Brittany and Patrick Mahomes welcome their second child?

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes welcomed their second child, son Patrick Lavon Mahomes III, on November 22 this year. The name of the Super Bowl-winning quarterback's son is a family name. The Chiefs quarterback was named Patrick Lavon Mahomes II and his dad was the first.

When it came to the gender reveal back in June, the couple donned light blue hoodies with "Baby Mahomes Boy or Girl" on them.

In October of this year, Patrick Mahomes spoke about being a father. The 2018 NFL MVP commented that he will be hands-off when it comes to his children's potential athletic interests, saying:

"I think that's the best thing for me. I'm going to help teach my son and my daughter all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn. But at the same time, I want to stay out of the way and let it be about them."

Time will tell whether his two children will become athletes like their dad. Patrick Mahomes likely wants to enjoy many Christmases with them, as he and Brittany did this year.
