Despite his busy schedule for the week, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes did his annual family photo shoot on the eve of Christmas with his family, featuring Santa.
His wife Brittany Mahomes took to IG on Dec 24 to post pictures of her family while wishing everyone a merry Christmas.
The caption for the post read:
“Merry Christmas🎄❤️”

While Patrick was wearing a red color shirt on top of light-camel color trousers, Brittany, was dressed in a white turtleneck top with white bell bottoms. The couple paired their outfits on the white-red color, a theme for Christmas Eve.
Patrick Mahomes' young son cries on Santa's lap
The pictures were taken from a recent photo shoot the couple took for their family, including their two children, Bronze and Sterling Skye. Even Santa joined the family in a couple of pictures.
The set was decorated with a large Christmas tree in the background with a pile of Christmas presents beside the tree. A single-sitting couch was also beside the tree with Santa’s bag of presents lying in front.
However, these were the best pictures from the photoshoot, as Brittany’s IG stories revealed the truth behind the shoot. She uploaded pictures of her son crying hysterically while sitting on Santa’s lap and holding two candy canes. Daughter Sterling looked confused as she held tightly to her present from Santa.
Brittany’s message for the picture:
“Bronze phrase of this holiday season" is "I scared Santa; I cry Santa.”
The Mahomes family started their Christmas preparation a little earlier as Patrick Mahomes has a busy schedule on Christmas Eve.
Patrick Mahomes disappointed playing on Christmas Eve
The Chiefs (14-1) are set to face the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-5) at Acrisure Stadium on Dec 25. The Chiefs are looking to tighten their grip on the AFC #1 position, while the Steelers would like to extend the gap from the Ravens and the Texans.
This will be the second consecutive year the Chiefs play on Christmas Eve as the NFL games gain massive viewership in the festive season.
Speaking to Pro Football Talk last year, Mahomes stated:
"I’m a little disappointed I’m going to miss Christmas Eve with my kids and Christmas morning and miss Santa coming."
Though Mahomes is unhappy to miss a festive celebration with his family, he is happy that the fans will watch the Chiefs play in a happy mood. For Mahomes, the best Christmas present is to win another Super Bowl.
