Indianapolis Colts' Nick Foles Fantasy Outlook for Week 16

Super Bowl LII - Philadelphia Eagles v New England Patriots

Nick Foles is one of the few players on the Indianapolis Colts roster who can stand tall. Unfortunately, his teammates who played in that Minnesota Vikings game cannot say the same. The Colts were terrible, and the NFL media has not shied away from reminding them of it.

Jeff Saturday has demoted Matt Ryan, the starting quarterback for that game, to the bench for the final three games of the season. As a result, Foles will get the opportunity to start his first NFL game since leaving Chicago.

Foles will look to repay his coach's forced faith with three solid performances. The first must come against the playoff-bound Las Vegas Chargers. It could be a baptism of fire to kick off his 2022 campaign, but you never know in American football.

Nick Foles' Fantasy Outlook

Nick Foles' story is one of the most entertaining in the NFL, with the former Eagles legend playing a major part in their last Super Bowl. Legend has it that the Eagles are finally good enough to win it one more time while Foles plays as a third-string QB on a weak Indianapolis Colts team. Thankfully, he'll have the opportunity to show his arm strength once again as he plays in the first out of the last three games of the Colts' season.

The plan is for Nick Foles to start the season's final three games. After a torrid season with Ryan, Indianapolis will look to get some positive action on the offensive side of the ball with Foles under center. However, at this point, it is a lost season for the Colts. Foles will offer some QB streaming appeal in deeper 2-QB and Superflex leagues.

How is Nick Foles performing this season?

Nick Foles has been a resident on the Indianapolis Colts' bench for the 2022 NFL season, with his only contribution coming in garbage time. However, the Michigan State University alum has never complained about his situation, and he merely waited for his chance.

The beginning of his shot at making an impression will be at the Los Angeles Chargers. Other opportunities will follow for the former Super Bowl-winning QB to prove his case. Currently, Foles is putting up zero stats across the board for the 2022 NFL season.
