Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown had consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons in 2022 and 2023, but he has only gained 109 yards in his last two games. After the Eagles defeated the Carolina Panthers 22-16 last week, he made headlines because he told reporters that the offense wasn't performing as it should because of "passing.”
As the Eagles look to win their 10th straight game in Week 15, Brown will aim to play a bigger role in the offense, which has relied more on rushing this season. The 10-3 Pittsburgh Steelers, who are also in good form, will visit Philadelphia on Sunday.
Exploring A.J. Brown's availability status for Week 15
A.J. Brown appeared on the Philadelphia Eagles' injury report on Wednesday to start the week, but the wideout was not nursing any new injuries. The team only chose to leave him out of practice that day for maintenance reasons.

The 27-year-old wideout returned fully to the team's practice on Thursday and Friday, so he's expected to suit up at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Brown sustained a hamstring injury that kept him out of action for three games on Sept. 13, two days before the team's Week 2 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. However, he has played in every matchup for Philly since he returned to the field against the Cleveland Browns in Week 6.
Due to a neck injury, wide receiver Britain Covey is the only player on the Eagles' injury list that has been ruled out this week. He will now miss a second straight game due to a neck ailment despite participating fully in practice on Thursday and Friday.
How has A.J. Brown performed this season?
The Philadelphia Eagles offense, which often relied heavily on passing, has depended more on Saquon Barkley's rushing prowess this season. The running back recently set the franchise's season rushing record with 1,623 yards with four games to go.
As a result, wide receiver A.J. Brown has not been able to contribute as much to the team's offense as he'd have been expected to. It's not bad that he's had four 100-yard games this year, but he had six consecutive over 100-yard games last season and had seven in total.
Brown obviously wants to get involved more. In his postgame address last week, he criticized the passing game and said the squad should pass the ball more frequently. The former Tennessee Titans receiver has caught 48 passes for 836 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 10 games this season.
Even though he hasn't been getting the ball often in recent outings, Brown is still crucial to the Eagles' offensive strategy; in the games he has missed this season, the team is 1-2.
