Alvin Kamara is expected to play another critical role for the New Orleans Saints in the 2024 season. Before that, the Saints will finish their preseason against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and fans are keen to learn whether Kamara will feature in the contest at Caesars Superdome.

As things stand, Alvin Kamara is not expected to play against the Tennessee Titans. The running back is listed as active on the Saints' roster but coach Dennis Allen won't field most of his starters in the preseason finale.

Since Kamara is the first-choice running back for the Saints, he is unlikely to get any reps against Tennessee.

Kamara played briefly in New Orleans' preseason opener against the Arizona Cardinals on Aug. 10. He rushed twice for three yards as the Saints recorded a 16-14 win.

On Aug. 13, Kamara suffered a back injury, which coach Allen said wasn't a big deal. He missed practice for a week and was sidelined for the preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Although Kamara returned to practice on Tuesday, the five-time Pro Bowler is not expected to suit up for the Saints' Week 3 preseason game against the Titans.
