The 4-3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hurting heading into the Week 8 schedule. With both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin expected to miss significant time, head coach Todd Bowles has his work cut out for him for the clash against the Atlanta Falcons. And if those injuries weren't enough, running back Bucky Irving has also been nursing a toe injury since late in the Week 7 game against Baltimore.
Irving was a DNP on Wednesday and Thursday but practised in a limited capacity on Friday, giving Bucs fans some cause for optimism. That optimism was rewarded on Saturday night after NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that Irving would likely suit up against Atlanta.

Is Bucky Irving playing today against the Falcons?
Toe injuries can be nasty, just ask Buffalo Bills running back James Cook. However, it appears Bucky Irving will be ready to go against the Falcons on Sunday afternoon despite being listed as questionable for most of the week.
This means head coach Todd Bowles will have the services of all three of his running backs, a trio he labelled a "three-headed monster" a few weeks ago.
With both Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out of the game, fellow running back Rachaad White could be called up to the receiving corps, giving Irving and Sean Tucker license to run free.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers injury report for Week 8 vs Atlanta
Mike Evans and Chris Godwin will clearly be the biggest losses for Tampa Bay as they prep to face the Atlanta Falcons but there are a few more concerns for Todd Bowles.
DL Greg Gaines (calf) and safety Tykee Smith (concussion) were both DNPs all week. Both players have been ruled out of Week 8.
Wide receiver Rakeem Jarrett is listed as questionable with a knee injury but he is expected to take the field on Sunday afternoon. Tight end Payne Durham is also listed as questionable with a calf injury but is expected to play after being a full participant in practice on Friday.
