Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua and the LA Rams have a big challenge ahead of them. The Rams clash with the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night to kick off Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season.
LA has only won two games this season and is trying to extend its momentum after a 20–15 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Kupp and Nacua will be back on the field for this matchup. Both star wide receivers were seen entering the field and playing catch for five minutes, per Bridget Condon.
The Rams were 7–4 last season when their star wide receiver duo was on the field with Matthew Stafford. This will mark the first time these three will be together since Week 1. They lost to the Detroit Lions at that moment but gave Dan Campbell and Co. everything they could handle, taking the game to overtime.

Cooper Kupp last played with the Rams in Week 2 after dealing with an ankle injury. He returned to practice this week and was expected to return to the field against the 5–1 Vikings, who lost to the Lions in Week 7.
Cooper Kupp's injury history during 8 years in the NFL
Kupp's been unable to remain healthy in recent seasons, which has become a concern for fans. Whenever he's been on the field, he's delivered. But his absences have become more common by the seasons. After capturing the 2023 Super Bowl, Kupp played 23 out of 38 possible games.
Even though he was healthy during his rookie season, Kupp missed the Rams' playoff run in his second year due to an ACL injury. In 2022, he sustained two ankle sprains, and the second one required surgery, keeping him sidelined for the second half of that campaign.
Kupp was also on the injured reserve in 2022 and 2023. He has played only two games this season, meaning he's missed four games with the Rams.
Kupp has suffered 10 injuries since 2017, and if this trend continues and the Rams can't turn the season around, perhaps the rumors about a potential exit will come to fruition.
Kupp has caught 18 passes in two games, recording 147 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. He can still be productive, but injuries have been ruthless.
