Prescott and the Cowboys played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2023 NFL Wild Card round and won it 31-14. In that game, Prescott threw for 305 yards with four passing touchdowns and a pass completion percentage of 75.76.
But while Prescott is coming off a stellar performance last week against a strong Buccaneers team, he'll need to keep the momentum going against a much more intimidating 49ers defensive squad. In the regular season, San Francisco gave up the fifth-fewest DKFP per game (15.3) to opposing quarterbacks.
The third-most costly quarterback on Sunday's playoff schedule is Prescott, who will play against the 49ers defense this weekend for the second straight playoff game.
Dallas was held to only 17 points when San Francisco visited in the 2022 Divisional Round as Prescott completed 23 of his 43 throws for 254 yards, one touchdown and one interception, good for a passer rating of 69.3.

Dak Prescott has played seven NFL seasons for the Dallas Cowboys. Prescott was selected by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2016 draft with the 135th selection.
Prescott was originally picked as Tony Romo's backup. However, because Romo was sidelined in 2016, Prescott started 16 games for the Cowboys. He had a game-changing performance, and the Cowboys won the NFC East that season.
He was awarded Offensive Rookie Player of the Year in 2016. He was named to the Pro Bowl twice in 2016 and 2018, and has helped the Cowboys reach the playoffs four times. Dak Prescott passed for 4,449 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season.
