Fantasy football managers are eager to know whether Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will return to the lineup for this highly-anticipated fixture on Sunday. The Chicago Bears will welcome the high-flying Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15 of the 2022-23 NFL regular season.
Goedert suffered a shoulder injury in Philadelphia's only loss of the season against the Washington Commanders in mid-November. However, he is now eligible to return from the injured reserve list ahead of the Eagles' road trip to Chicago. He expressed his excitement to get back onto the practice field ahead of the contest.
Dallas Goedert's shoulder injury took place in Week 10. The 27-year-old was violently dragged onto the turf via his helmet by Washington Commanders LB Jamin Davis in Week 10. Reports later confirmed that Goedert suffered a small fracture to the glenoid of the shoulder.

By his own admission, Goedert later claimed that his shoulder was never dislocated nor was his labrum or rotator cuff damaged. He has been out of action for over a month, but we could see him return to action for the Eagles this weekend.
Dallas Goedert's stats and fantasy outlook
Prior to his shoulder injury, Goedert was one of the best tight ends in the league. He racked up 544 receiving yards and scored three touchdowns in nine games. The tight end was having the best season of his NFL career as he totaled 70.4 fantasy points, averaging 7.8 FPPG.
However, we are unsure whether Goedert will be able to perform at his optimum soon after returning from injury. Hence, we suggest that fans avoid picking him for their fantasy team in Week 15, when the Eagles travel to face the Bears.
Nevertheless, Goedert's return will come as another major boost for the Eagles, who have already booked their place in the playoffs. The tight end will be used as another attacking weapon for quarterback Jalen Hurts in the postseason.
