Darius Slayton only logged limited practice participations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday due to a thumb injury sustained during last weekend's victory over the Cleveland Browns. The veteran wideout is tagged as questionable for the game, casting a doubt over his involvement in Week 4.

Is Darius Slayton playing today?

Darius Slayton had to leave the game briefly toward the end of the Week 3 victory over the Cleveland Browns due to a thumb issue.

He had negative results from his X-rays, and the Giants' practice report from Monday and Tuesday indicated that he was limited in practice. As a result, he's carrying an injury designation into Thursday's Week 4 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

With Slayton's status questionable, there's a chance that he could suit up, but even if he does, don't expect him to be a big offensive contributor. Slayton's status will eventually be known when the Giants make their inactives public, which should happen roughly 90 minutes before kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Slayton has been the Giants' top wide receiver for the past few years, but first-round rookie Malik Nabers has come to prominence as the team's top wide receiver this season, while Wan'Dale Robinson is the WR2. If Slayton is ruled out of the Week 4 game, Jalin Hyatt may get some offensive action.

Darius Slayton has been with the Giants since being selected in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL draft. He has accumulated 22 catches for 279 yards on 37 targets and zero TDs in eight games against the Cowboys, losing seven and winning one.
