Deebo Samuel Week 8 fantasy outlook: Is he playing this week?

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel is listed as questionable for their Week 8 game against the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday. The 49ers are hoping to get back on track after suffering two consecutive losses in the last two weeks.

The 49ers are struggling with injuries to players like WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring), LB Dre Greenlaw (calf), WR Jauan Jennings (hamstring), and FB Kyle Juszczyk (finger). The list of players did not take part in Wednesday's and Thursday's practice sessions.

Deebo Samuel played in last week's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, but came out with a hamstring strain the following Monday. The good news is that Samuel isn't suffering from a torn hamstring, which would have kept him out of the game for a few weeks.

He has started in six out of the seven games he has played in this season. He has 32 receptions for 387 yards and has made it to the endzone twice. He recorded 77 receptions for 1,405 yards and scored six touchdowns last season en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.

His presence will certainly be missed in Kyle Shanahan's offense. The wideout's athletic stature has him playing a significant role in both the 49ers' running game and their passing game.
