Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints returned from their bye week with a 21-14 loss to the LA Rams on Sunday, failing to get closer to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South standings.
They will go against another struggling squad on Sunday, the New York Giants, hoping to bounce back and post a performance like the one they had against the Cleveland Browns in Week 11.
Carr will be key to reaching that goal, but with the lengthy injury report the Saints had this week, some fans still need confirmation that the starting quarterback is available for this matchup.
Is Derek Carr playing today against the Giants?
The New Orleans Saints have 12 players on the injury report ahead of this matchup, including tight end/quarterback Taysom Hill and safety Tyrann Mathieu. Derek Carr, however, wasn't included on the list, meaning he's ready to take on the New York Giants on Sunday.

Carr dealt with an oblique injury, which forced him to miss three games earlier this season. During that time, Spencer Rattler replaced him, showcasing his talents for a team that couldn't win each of the three games he played in.
At the start of November, Carr was cleared to retake his duties as the team's starting quarterback, but his return wasn't as positive as some thought since the Saints lost to the Carolina Panthers, 23-22.
He won the next two games against the Falcons and Browns, respectively, before heading to the bye week.
Once they returned to the field, the Rams brought them back to reality with a 21-14 loss. After the Giants game, the Saints will face another NFC East team, the Washington Commanders.
The Green Bay Packers will be next at Lambeau Field before the Las Vegas Raiders visit them at Caesars Superdome. They will close out the regular season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18.
The next four games will define the Saints' chances to advance to the playoffs, but they'll have to go through some difficult opponents.
Derek Carr has played nine games this season, throwing 248 passes, completing 169 for 1,926 yards, 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. New Orleans is still in the race to win the NFC South division, but they must lock in for the next five games if they want to stand a chance against the inconsistent Bucs and Falcons.
