Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris stated during his press conference on Monday that wide receiver Drake London, who sustained a hip injury during the team's Week 9 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, is considered day-to-day.
"Drake has the hip pointer," Morris stated. "I'm thinking that's day-to-day. That will be a little pain-tolerance deal, and I'll definitely have a better feel on Thursday. We'll see what Wednesday entails and what that looks like, but I'll definitely have a better feel for that on Thursday.”
London's ability to practice before the end of the week will probably determine whether or not he plays in the Falcons' divisional game against the New Orleans Saints on the road in Week 10.
It will be important to keep an eye on London's condition during this week's practice. But Morris' statement that the injury might be a matter of pain tolerance and that the team would have more information by Thursday suggests that the wideout will be healthy enough to play against the Saints in Week 10.

Drake London's injury update: What happened to the Falcons' WR?
Atlanta Falcons wideout Drake London suffered a hip injury against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. He sustained the injury when he jumped over Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs and snagged a nine-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Kirk Cousins late in the first quarter.
London, however, hurt his hip as he landed on the ground. He held his helmet in his hand and stayed on the sidelines until halftime, when he was eventually declared out of the game.
He was replaced by wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge, who recorded one catch for nine yards. He received praise from head coach Raheem Morris after the game for his efforts.
London headed into that game against Dallas as the Falcons' top receiver with 48 receptions for 525 yards and five scores, and he added two more receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown before he left the game. His touchdown against the Cowboys means he now has six for the season, already equaling his total from 2022 and 2023.
Drake London is still expected to return in Week 10 after it was disclosed on Monday that he had a hip pointer injury and is deemed day-to-day.
The Falcons are scheduled to face the Saints on Sunday for their Week 10 slate, and they will be hoping that their star wide receiver can recover from the injury in time for the game.
