Barring any late injury or setback, Isiah Pacheco will play against the Chargers on Sunday night. The Chiefs running back is active on the team roster and is expected to suit up for the Week 14 matchup. Pacheco stayed away from the injury report during the week as well. He was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Pacheco picked up a knee injury in the Chiefs' Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The running back was clattered by three Cincinnati defenders on Kansas City's final drive of the game. It was later confirmed that Pacheco suffered a fractured fibula, and the Chiefs placed him on the IR list.

Pacheco underwent surgery, but it was reported that his injury would not be season-ending. He did, however, miss nine games before returning to action against the Raiders in Week 13.

How has Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco performed this season?

Pacheco has recorded 179 yards and a touchdown on 41 carries. He has also added 54 yards on eight receptions across three games for the Chiefs this season. In his return matchup against the Raiders, Pacheco finished with 44 rushing yards on seven carries along with five yards on one reception as the Chiefs won 19-17.

The Chiefs drafted Pacheco in 2022, and he has stepped up in important games to help Kansas City win two Super Bowls in the past two seasons. Pacheco is expected to play another key role for the Chiefs (11-1) this season as the team has ambitions to complete a historic three-peat.
