The Eagles will host two more practice sessions, on Thursday and Friday, before hosting the Rams on Sunday. Hurts is likely to take part in full practice on both those days before suiting up for the second-round postseason matchup.
Hurts is expected to start as Philly's quarterback against the Rams. He addressed his uneven passing game against the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round.
“Every game is different,” Hurts said on Wednesday. “I think you guys need to understand that I don’t play the game for anything other than to win. And my role in each game will be different. And the approach in each game is different. And you just want to go out there and do your job and take advantage of opportunities.
“I think some things are magnified a little bit more because there’s less opportunity in certain areas. Ultimately, it’s about winning the game. We’re talking about playoff football.”
Hurts completed 13 of 21 passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns in Philly's 22-10 win over the Packers.
