Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is one of the finest players in the NFL, and amongst the best leaders on the field.

Jason played in his second Super Bowl this past Sunday as the Eagles fell short to his brother Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs by a close score of 38-35.

Before the Super Bowl, Jason was contemplating retiring after this season.

Following the loss, Jason and Travis spoke about whether or not Jason would retire this off-season on their podcast, New Heights.

Jason is still unclear about what his decision will be as he wasn't able to answer the question on the podcast.

Jason Kelce said:

"Man, I can't answer that right now. No chance. We'll answer that soon enough. I guess. I don't know the answer to that right now, so I can't answer it. I do know it was a lot of fun this year. I had an amazing team and time doing the show with my brother."

Jason added that it's been a tiring season - emotionally, physically, and mentally - and he will give it time before he makes a decision.

He added:

"So you know, we'll see I'm gonna let the batteries recharge. I'm exhausted man. It's a long season, mentally, physically, emotionally drained. And I'm gonna let all that kind of recover before we decide on that but regardless, this one's been fun."

Is Jason Kelce worthy of making the Hall-of-Fame if he retires this off-season?

There is a strong chance that Jason Kelce retires from football following the Eagles' Super Bowl loss. He was selected by the Eagles in the sixth-round of the 2011 NFL draft and has played all 12 years of his career in Philly.

In his career, he has earned six Pro Bowl selections, five first-team All-Pro selections, and is a Super Bowl champion. He's started in 176 games played and has recovered seven fumbles.

If Kelce does decide to step away from the game, he will likely have done enough to make Canton one day. He's still playing at the top of his game as he's made the last four Pro Bowls.

Off the field, he hosts a podcast with his brother, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, and could focus his next career on broadcasting/being an analyst.
