Jayden Daniels finished the regular season with 3,568 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He also rushed for 891 yards and six touchdowns, leading the Commanders to the playoffs with a second-place finish in the NFC East.

In the wild-card round, Daniels threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns on 24 passes to help the Commanders to a 23–20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the divisional round, the Washington quarterback recorded 299 yards and two touchdowns on 22 passes to help Washington to a 45-31 victory over the NFC's No. 1 seed, the Detroit Lions.

Daniels is enjoying a dream rookie season, but he must be at his best when the Commanders face the Eagles on Sunday.
