Wide receiver Jordan Addison has had a stellar second season, having formed a strong bond with quarterback Sam Darnold in the Minnesota Vikings offense. He will be looking to carry his brilliant regular-season form into the playoffs.

Addison will be looking to get his first taste of playoff football on Monday night when his 14-3 Vikings take on NFC West champion, LA Rams, at State Farm Stadium.

Earlier this season, the Rams defeated Minnesota 30-20 in a Thursday Night Football game in Los Angeles. Now, with the help of Addison and their other offensive weapons, the Vikings will be looking to reverse that outcome.

Exploring Jordan Addison's availability status for wild-card game

Jordan Addison will suit up for the Minnesota Vikings in Arizona on Monday night when the team faces the LA Rams in the final wild-card round game of the year. The former first-round pick is currently not dealing with any injury concerns and wasn't listed on Minnesota's injury report last week.

This season, the 22-year-old wide receiver has recovered from two sprained ankles: one during a preseason session and another in the Week 1 matchup with the New York Giants. Due to the ankle injury he suffered in the season opener, Addison missed two games, but he hasn't missed time with injury since returning.

While Addison will play on Monday night, running back Cam Akers was ruled questionable on Minnesota's final injury report after being reported sick on Saturday. Additionally, outside linebacker Patrick Jones II has been ruled out due to a knee injury.

Has Jordan Addison played well this season?

After being selected with the No. 23 pick in the 2023 NFL draft, Jordan Addison has lived up to his pre-draft hype in his two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings.

He was named an All-Rookie by the Pro Football Writers of America after amassing 70 receptions, 944 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. With yet another strong season under his belt, Addison has made a name for himself as a top WR2, behind All-Pro Justin Jefferson.

The USC alum caught 63 passes for 875 yards and nine touchdowns in 15 games in the regular season. He has also increased his output recently, with 577 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in the last eight games.

Addison only managed two receptions for 22 yards during the Vikings' game against the LA Rams at SoFi Stadium in Week 8. He will now attempt to prevent himself from being locked down by the team's secondary for the second time this season.
