It's that time of the year, the part where every NFL team has a laundry list of names on the injury report. It's been a long, grueling season and every team has had to battle injuries but with the playoffs on the horizon, some players will be looking to play themselves into some momentum. Josh Jacobs, however, needs no momentum in Week 18.

Seeing the Pro Bowl RB in a Packers uniform has taken some getting used to but Jacobs has proved the Raiders made a mistake by letting him hit free agency last summer.

With the Packers, Jacobs has quietly had a productive season and has already amassed 1,285 rushing yards. He will have an opportunity to add to that tally when the Packers take on the Chicago Bears to close out the regular-season finale with a good ol' fashioned rivalry.

Is Josh Jacobs playing today vs the Chicago Bears?

Like most of the big names on this Packers roster, Jacobs popped up on the injury report for Week 18 with a wrist injury. For a while there, his availability was up in the air. However, Jacobs suited up in practice on Friday as a full participant and has no injury designation for the game against Chicago. Expect to see a lot of Jacobs this afternoon.

Will the Green Bay Packers rest their starters for Week 18?

The Packers have given no indication that they will rest their starters as they look to end the season with a 12th win.

“You’ve got a 53-man roster plus two call-ups, so guys gotta play, so that’s the approach that we take here,” coach Matt LaFleur told NBC. “The right answer is whatever works, and I think you’ve got to have a philosophy on what works best for you.
“We were in a similar situation a few years back where we played the guys a half, and lost in the second half, and then we had the bye and we lost in the playoffs. The right answer is whatever works, is really what I’ll tell you."
