Kenneth Walker III's spot on the Seattle Seahawks depth chart could be in danger. The running back has been dealing with a calf injury since the Seahawks game against the New York Jets, and when backup Zach Charbonnet was called upon, he performed well above the expectation.

Seattle has a mega-important game on Sunday. They'll face the Green Bay Packers knowing that the Los Angeles Rams, with whom they're fighting for the NFC West, have already won on Thursday Night Football. They can keep the division lead with the win, but the pressure will be on.

Charbonnet has been a breath of fresh air, but in such an important game, the Seahawks would love to have their one-two punch complete with the starter running back. However, it looks like they won't be able to count on Walker.

Is Kenneth Walker III's playing vs. the Packers on SNF in Week 15?

It's extremely unlikely that the running back will be able to recover in time to feature against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. His official designated status is doubtful, but head coach Mike Macdonald has already said that it's not likely he'll be there.

“He hasn’t practiced yet, so we listed him as doubtful", said the head coach, before noting that the running back has made progress on his recovery.

He was listed as Did Not Practice (DNP) in all of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday's injury reports leading to the game.

Charbonnet is set to be the starter once again, fresh off a fantastic performance with 22 carries, 134 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Another one of those could create a doubt in Macdonald's head about who should start until the end of the season.

Kenneth Walker III's Stats: How has the RB fared this season?

The good start to the season hasn't been maintained over the last two months. The running back has amassed 542 rushing yards and seven touchdowns with an average of 3.7 yards per carry, below the standards of 4.0 that are considered "good" for any running back.

Since his third game of the season, he has had just one game with over 4.0 yards per carry, with three touchdowns in eight games. It's safe to say that the Seahawks would want more production from their starter running back, whoever that is.
