It's fair to say that among the non-QB rookies who entered the NFL in 2024, Ladd McConkey has been one of the most impressive names so far. After the Los Angeles Chargers cleared house and brought Jim Harbaugh to town from Ann Arbor, all the focus was on Justin Herbert and McConkey to keep the offense afloat as the franchise began to figure things out.
With the Chargers all but certain to make the playoffs at this point with eight wins already, there was some talk of McConkey having a bit of a rest given he has been battling knee and shoulder injuries all week. However, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that the team is "optimistic" McConkey will be fit in time to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this afternoon.

Is Ladd McConkey playing today vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
McConkey suited up in practice on a limited basis all week, which is understandable given he is nursing knee and shoulder injuries. The Chargers have officially listed him as questionable for Week 15.
All signs point towards the Chargers WR being available for the game against the Buccaneers this afternoon. He will be looking to grab his fifth touchdown of the season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Los Angeles Chargers injury report
