Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald suffered an ankle injury in Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs and hasn't played since. The defensive tackle has not fully recovered yet and hence, will not feature for the Rams in their Week 15 clash against the Green Bay Packers.
Los Angeles have listed Donald as 'out' for the Monday Night Football contest. As such he will not be playing tonight. Earlier this week, Rams head coach Sean McVay was hopeful that his defensive leader would be able to return to the fold soon. However, on Saturday, he confirmed that Donald will not be available to face the Packers.
The reigning Super Bowl champions have been dealt a major setback with Donald's absence in Week 15 as they are in a must-win situation. The eight-time Pro Bowler is a master at pouncing on opposition quarterbacks and constantly adding pressure in a bid to force them into mistakes.

Donald would have been delighted at the prospect of facing Aaron Rodgers. However, he will have to sit this one out and hope that his teammates are able to get the job done against Green Bay.
The Rams are currently 4-9 and third in the NFC West standings. They need to win all of their remaining games in order to stand a chance of making it to the playoffs. As things stand, they have less than a 1% chance of qualifying for the postseason.
Aaron Donald's stats in the 2022-23 NFL season
Aaron Donald hasn't had the best of campaigns in the Rams' backline this season. Nonetheless, in 11 games, he has managed five sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, 11 quarterback hits, and a forced fumble.
The three-time Defensive Player of the Year has been a revelation for the Los Angeles outfit over the years. He was instrumental in helping them win the Super Bowl last season. Although this season has been an incredible disappointment for everyone in the franchise, there is still hope with the stars the Rams have throughout the team. Alas, that so many are injured in Week 15.
