Is Malik Nabers playing tonight? Latest on Giants WR for Fantasy Football Week 6

New York Giants rookie Malik Nabers has proven to be among the most electric rookies this year alongside Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. The Giants appear to have found their franchise piece of the future but alarm bells were ringing loud when the LSU alum went down with a concussion in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys.

While there was just a glimmer of hope that Nabers would suit up in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals, head coach Brian Daboll has now ruled him out of the Sunday Night Football showdown.

Daboll noted that Nabers was doing better and cleared a few steps in the concussion protocol but the franchise will now afford him another week off to be cleared in time to face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7.

"That’s why we’re going to get him out here on the grass today," Daboll said this week. "So, he didn’t do that last week. He’s feeling better. But again, I’ll take those very seriously and go through each step. But he is doing better. So, we’ll see how he does after he does some activity out there on the grass today.”

New York Giants injury report for Week 6: Is Malik Nabers playing this week?

With Malik Nabers already out with a concussion, the Giants still have a few more names to be concerned about for Sunday Night Football this week.

Running back Devin Singletary is still a doubt to suit up against the Bengals owing to a groin injury but we have seen the Giants turning to Tyrone Tracy Jr. more often in recent weeks.

Elsewhere, star OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux is a doubt to go up against Cincy with a wrist injury and was a DNP on Wednesday and Thursday. Brian Burns is also in the same boat as Thibodeaux this week with a groin injury.

The Bengals also have their own concerns to deal with. Both Zack Moss and Chase Brown popped up on the Week 6 injury report while Mike Gesicki is also a concern because of a hamstring injury.
