Marvin Harrison Jr. had to deal with the first injury of his career in the National Football League this week. The Arizona Cardinals rookie's name landed up on the injury report for Week 4 against the Washington Commanders owing to a quadricep injury.

Harrison Jr. was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was a full participant Friday. The electric rookie is expected to get the green light to feature against Washington at the State Farm Stadium later today.

Is Marvin Harrison Jr. playing today?

With Harrison Jr. playing in Week 4, the question now becomes how many snaps he'll play against the Commanders. Head coach Jonathan Gannon gave no indication that the rookie will be on any sort of snap count this week so expect him to continue to trend upwards in fantasy football too.

The Cardinals rookie's fantasy outlook, courtesy of Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer is also an encouraging one. Harrison Jr.'s projected return of 16.2 points could very well be the difference between fantasy owners winning or losing this week's matchups.


Arizona Cardinals injury report

While they have Marvin Harrison Jr. fit for this afternoon, the Cardinals do have several names on the injury report. Tight end Trey McBride will play no part in the proceedings today owing to the concussion he suffered last week. DL Khyiris Tonga has also been ruled out because of a knee injury.

Star safety Budda Baker is also dealing with a quadricep injury but he's expected to take the field since he was a full participant in practice on Friday.

Over at the Washington Commanders' side of things, running back Austin Ekeler is expected to play no part today owing to a concussion.
