Is Maxx Crosby playing today? Update on Raiders DE's status for Week 5 vs Broncos

Ironman Maxx Crosby missed the Las Vegas Raiders' surprise 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 4 owing to an ankle injury. Crosby was also limited in practice all week ahead of their Week 5 showdown against the Denver Broncos.

However, ESPN insider Adam Schefter reports that despite being listed as questionable for this game, Crosby will suit up to take on Sean Payton's Broncos.

Crosby will suit up later this evening but the Raiders do have a few injury issues of note. The biggest name on the Raiders injury report today is Davante Adams, who also missed Week 4 with a hamstring injury.

Adams has been ruled out of Week 5 against Denver with the same issue.

The Raiders All-Pro playmaker also submitted a trade request earlier this week. Sportskeeda's NFL insider Tony Pauline notes that there are currently four teams interested in pulling off a trade for Adams - the New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints.

Raiders vs Broncos injury report

The Raiders have a laundry list of injury issues to deal with in Week 5. Adams is already out and the franchise was handed another headache with Zamir White ruled out with a groin injury.

Tight end Michael Mayer has also been ruled out but rookie TE Brock Bowers is expected to take the field despite being a limited participant in practice all week.

The Broncos, meanwhile, have a pretty short list of names on the injury report. Running back Tyler Badie has been ruled out after suffering a nasty hit in Week 4. Wide receiver Josh Reynolds also popped up on the injury report but he is expected to suit up later this evening.

Raiders vs Broncos kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 pm (Eastern) live from Empower Field in Denver. The game will be broadcast live on FOX.
