Is Michael Pittman Jr. playing today?
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Michael Pittman is expected to suit up in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears despite being officially tagged as questionable to play on Friday's injury report. Despite the receiver's back and calf issues, Indianapolis coach Shane Steichen expressed optimism regarding his availability for Sunday's game.
Pittman Jr. hasn't gotten off to a good start this season despite having recently signed a three-year, $70 million agreement with the Colts during the offseason. He's currently third on the team in receiving yards and second in receptions, but he remains an important part of the offense after recording 109 receptions for 1,152 yards in the 2023 campaign.
Additionally, since WR Josh Downs was not given an injury designation on Friday's final injury report, the Colts will have him available for selection today after he missed the team's opening two games.
Michael Pittman and his teammates are looking to bounce back against the Bears today after last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers.
