Michael Anthony Strahan is an American former professional football player who was born on November 21, 1971, in Houston, Texas. He played as a defensive end on the NFL team named New York Giants.
Strahan played in the NFL for a period of 15 years during which he played only for the New York Giants. Strahan is tied with TJ Watt for the most number of quarterback sacks in the NFL in one season.
Strahan’s playing career has been very successful with him amassing many honours and awards. Aside from winning one Super Bowl championship, Strahan has also been awarded the Defensive Player of the Year and has 4 First-Team All-Pro honours, 2 Second-Team All-Pro Honours, 7 Pro Bowl appearances and 2 NFL Sack Leader awards.
