Evans sustained the hamstring injury in the second quarter of Tampa Bay's Week 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens at Raymond James Stadium. He appeared to hurt himself in the Ravens’ end zone while stretching to catch a pass from quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Evans was spotted clutching the back of his right thigh as he exited the game. He did not return.

The Buccaneers subsequently ruled out Evans for their matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8, which Tampa Bay lost 31-26.

Monday's game against the Chiefs will mark the second game that Evans has missed. It's still unclear when he will return to action.

This season, Evans has posted 335 yards on 26 receptions and caught six touchdowns. The Buccaneers will hope that he can return to the gridiron sooner rather than later.
