Harris had briefly appeared on Pittsburgh's injury report on Saturday since he did not practice with the team. However, his absence was non-injury related as the Steelers gave him a rest before Monday's game.

In seven games for the Steelers this season, Harris has racked up 478 yards in 117 carries and rushed for two scores. He has also added 135 yards on 20 receptions but has yet to catch a touchdown.

The Pro Bowl running back has also scored a touchdown while posting 100+ rushing yards in each of his past two games.

Harris is expected to play another important role in Pittsburgh's offensive backfield in Week 8 against the Giants.
