Nico Collins and the Houston Texans play the Chicago Bears in their Week 2 regular season game on Sunday at NRG Stadium.
Collins, who again looked like the team's WR1, was a crucial component of the Texans' offense in their Week 1 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. However, the wide receiver appeared on the Houston Texans' injury list this week, even though he didn't sustain any injury last week.
Let's see below if Collins is carrying an injury fantasy managers and whether fans of the Texans should worry ahead of the showdown against the Bears tonight.

Is Nico Collins playing today?
Nico Collins was limited by an illness during the Houston Texans' practice on Thursday. But after being spotted practicing fully on Friday, he now appears prepared to play on Sunday.
Collins didn't have an injury designation in the final injury report and practiced fully on Friday, so it appears that his illness was minor. The Michigan alum is expected to start against the Bears on Sunday night.
Collins continued to display the kind of outstanding play he had displayed in his 2023 breakout season in the first-week matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, hauling in six receptions from eight targets for 117 yards.
Nico Collins' fantasy projection in Week 2
Nico Collins has established himself as quarterback C.J. Stroud's preferred target in the Houston Texans offense since the start of the 2023 season. His creative play prowess has also made him a respectable fantasy option.
The 25-year-old receiver once again had a strong showing in the opening weekend of the season, recording six receptions on eight targets. Collins is leaning toward fantasy prominence this season, and it might be evident again tonight.
The third-year receiver finished with 17.7 fantasy points in Week 1 and he just might better that number against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The fact that Collins hauled massively in Week 2 of last season with 146 receiving yards, a touchdown reception, and 27.6 fantasy points — after scoring 14.0 fantasy points in Week 1 — is noteworthy even if it may not necessarily be a sign of things to come today.
Collins is a high-upside WR2 with WR1 prospective in some games due to his growing role in the Texans' system, so fantasy managers should feel comfortable starting him in all lineup formats in Week 2.
Collins is projected to finish with 15.0 fantasy points today, according to Sportskeeda's free "Who Should I Start" tool, which also projects him to have five catches for 75 receiving yards.
That's better than the tool's projections for Collins' teammate Stefon Diggs (11.1 points, four catches, 48 receiving yards).
