The Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson beat the Pittsburgh Steelers and Russell Wilson in the race for the AFC North crown, and now the two teams will face off for the third time this season in the wild-card round.

Let's take a look on Wilson's availability.

Exploring Russell Wilson's availability status for tonight's Wild Card game

Russell Wilson will remain the Pittsburgh Steelers' starting quarterback when the team takes on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday night. The former Super Bowl winner is not dealing with any injury and didn't appear on Pittsburgh's injury report this week, so he's expected to start in the first round of the playoffs.

Wilson and his teammates lost four straight games in the final stretch of the regular season, which prevented them from having home-field advantage. They will have to go to Maryland to play the Ravens, who have won four straight games.

The quarterback thinks his team has already demonstrated that they can defeat any team this season, even though the Steelers are typically viewed as the underdog going into the matchup.

Wilson was signed by the Steelers in the 2024 NFL off-season, but a calf injury prevented him from playing in the season's opening games. He missed the team's first six games due to the injury, but in Week 7, he made a comeback against the New York Jets.

Russell Wilson hasn't missed a game since returning, and the team will continue to depend on him in the wild-card round.

While Wilson will suit up tonight, linebacker Cole Holcomb (knee), defensive lineman Logan Lee (calf), and wide receiver Roman Wilson (hamstring) were all ruled out on the Steelers' final injury report on Thursday. All three players were designated to return last week.

The team also designated guard Mason McCormick questionable for the game in the wild-card round due to a broken hand.

How has Russell Wilson performed this season?

Including a bad Week 16 showing against the Baltimore Ravens, Russell Wilson had a rough last four games of the regular season.

That said, the veteran's season-long stat line is appealing, as he completed 63.7 percent of his passes and threw for 16 touchdowns with only five interceptions. In 11 regular-season games, Wilson, who missed Week 1 to Week 6 due to a calf injury, has amassed 2,482 passing yards and a 95.6 passer rating. In addition, he has rushed for two touchdowns and 155 yards.
