Saquon Barkley is one win away from playing in his first Super Bowl, which would be the second in the last three years for the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles signed Barkley from the New York Giants, a decision that has paid off for the franchise.

Following a hard-fought matchup against the LA Rams, Barkley is healthy and ready to go against the NFC East rivals Washington Commanders, a team that knows what it takes to beat the Eagles this season.

Barkley was not included on the injury report this week, unlike Jalen Hurts, who is suffering from a knee issue, A.J. Brown, who was classified with knee, rest, and illness, and Dallas Goedert, who suffered an ankle injury but will probably play on Sunday.

Barkley put on another show against the Rams, leading his team to a major win to return to the NFC championship game after their disappointing exit last campaign. He carried the ball 26 times, racking up 205 rushing yards and two touchdowns while catching four passes for 27 passing yards.

The Washington Commanders defeated the Eagles the last time they saw each other, but this time the story might be different.

Former DPOY explains how to stop Saquon Barkley ahead of Commanders-Eagles matchup

Ahead of the big game, five-time All-Pro linebacker Luke Kuechly explained what he'd do to try to slow down Saquon Barkley. Talking on "Up & Adams" on Friday, Kuechly shared his two pennies on this highly anticipated matchup.

"I think how you attack Saquon is really important, in the sense of, if you let him speed you up and slow you down, and he gets you to slow your feet down, he's going to be able to stop and start substantially faster than you are," Kuechly said.
"So kind of the approach when you play a guy like this as a linebacker is trust your angle the football run through his hip and make him make a drastic cut."

Barkley ran the ball 29 times against the Commanders last time out, totaling 150 running yards and two touchdowns.
