During the Thursday Night Football clash between the San Francisco Giants and the New York Giants, legendary commentator Al Michaels had an unfortunate mixup. The sportscaster switched up the Diggs brothers on air, giving Bills fans a momentary shock.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs suffered a season-ending ACL injury in practice. However, Michaels mistakenly said that Stefon had torn his ACL, late in the fourth quarter of the 49ers-Giants game:

“They lost Stefon Diggs today to the Cowboys. Torn ACL. Huge loss."

Fortunately for Bills supporters, Stefon has both his ACLs intact. The 29-year-old also took part in full practice for the Buffalo outfit on Thursday.

This is a green light for fantasy fans, and barring any setbacks, Diggs will play in Week 3.

When will Stefon Diggs return?

Diggs is currently listed as active on the Bills roster. He is expected to start in the Week 3 clash against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, Sept. 24.

Diggs is an integral part of the Buffalo offense and he has formed a strong partnership with quarterback Josh Allen over the past few seasons. The duo will be key for the Bills if they want to get the win over Washington this weekend.

Diggs recorded an impressive 102 yards and one touchdown on 10 receptions in Week 1 against the New York Jets. However, the Bills fell to a 22-16 loss in their season opener.

The wideout added 66 yards on seven receptions in Buffalo's 38-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2. Although Diggs failed to record a touchdown, he looked sharp throughout the game, causing problems for the Raiders defense.

In two games this season, Diggs has managed 22.8 fantasy points. He got 16.2 fantasy points in Week 1 and 6.6 fantasy points in Week 2.

Diggs is one of the best receivers in the NFL and there's a good chance that he can get you some big fantasy points against the Commanders on Sunday. The Commanders are 2-0 this season but have the 14th-best defense in the league.
