Tim Tebow had a rather underwhelming three-year spell as an NFL quarterback. The free agent hasn't played in the league since 2012 and is finding it challenging to re-enter pro football.
However, Tebow was considered a top prospect at the collegiate level. He led the Florida Gators to two national championships while picking up a Heisman Trophy in his sophomore year.
Although Tebow isn't in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he is recognized as one of the greatest college football players.

Only last month, he was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame on the first ballot. His incredible stats and accomplishments with the Gators are the reason why he is considered one of the best players to have ever played at the college level.
Tebow led the Gators to the Southeastern Conference title in 2006 and 2008, winning MVP honors in 2008. He also guided them to three SEC East titles (2006, 2008-09) and set 14 conference records.
The quarterback has a sensational 48-7 record with the Gators. In total, he threw for 9,285 yards and 88 touchdowns while also rushing for 2,947 yards and 55 touchdowns.
It remains one of football's biggest mysteries as to why Tebow couldn't carry forward his spellbinding stats into the NFL.
Tim Tebow's NFL stats and career

Although Tim Tebow had an extremely successful college football career, the same can't be said about his time in the NFL. He was selected No. 25 by the Denver Broncos in the 2010 NFL draft.
After spending two seasons in Denver, he moved on to the New York Jets for a year. He later tried out for several teams, including the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and most-recently the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021, but never made the cut.
In total, Tebow has played only 35 NFL games. He has recorded 2,422 yards with 17 touchdowns passing and also added 989 yards and 12 touchdowns rushing.
