The Minnesota Vikings are on a roll, 4-0 and atop the NFC North. But their credentials will be challenged in London today when they kick off the Week 5 Sunday schedule against the New York Jets. Rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy is still not close to returning from injury, but the Vikings have some good news on star tight end T.J. Hockenson.
Minnesota opened the practice window on Hockenson earlier this week, but the tight end won't be fit in time to go up against the Jets this evening in (hopefully) sunny London.

Is T.J. Hockenson playing today? Vikings' depth chart explored
With Hockenson out of the London game against the Jets, expect the Minnesota Vikings to call on the services of backup tight ends Johnny Mundt and Josh Oliver. The Vikings haven't used their tight ends much and with good reason.
Justin Jefferson has shown no signs of slowing down, while Sam Darnold looks like a man reborn. Running back Aaron Jones has also been one of the most impressive running backs this season, racking up 321 yards on 64 rushing attempts for a touchdown through four weeks of football.
Overall, the Vikings offense looks like it's singing from the same hymn sheet, but the Jets defense will be their sternest test yet. The Jets also didn't have a good Week 4 against the Broncos, as the offense failed to get going in rough weather conditions. Expect Aaron Rodgers and Co. to come out all guns firing in London later today.
